What it is

Word Parts teaches medical terminology the way it actually works: as building blocks. Learn 175 prefixes, roots, and suffixes, then use them to take words apart and put them back together.

There are five modes. Learn browses the word-part library. Decode It splits a term into its parts (hepat/o/megaly). Build It has you assemble a term from a definition. Bedside Translate turns real-style chart notes into plain language. Quick Quiz checks what stuck.

Once you can decode, a brand-new term on a chart stops being scary. You can figure it out on the spot.
