What it is
Chart Detective is a clinical mystery board game. A patient is getting worse and nobody knows why. Be the first detective to name all three: the condition, the cause (what in their history or medications led to it), and the first nursing action.
Roll the die and move through the hospital. Walk into units to search for evidence: Triage (vital signs), Cardiac, Neuro, Respiratory, Dialysis, Lab, Pharmacy (the medication list), and Medical Records. Everything you find goes into the shared evidence list, and values marked HIGH, LOW, or NEW are your best clues.
Accuse only from the Nurses' Station. Get all three right for 10 points plus 2 for every unit no one has opened, so guessing early pays if you are right. Guess wrong and you lose 3 points. After each case, How the systems connect shows how one problem spread from system to system.
